YMCA Kuwait Recognition and Affiliations

YMCA Kuwait is an association of like-minded Indian community mainly from the state of Kerala formed in Kuwait for the purpose of sharing and caring the need of the of the society in general.

YMCA Kuwait is recognized by the Embassy of India, in Kuwait vide REG.NO.:INDEMB/KWT/ASSN/365

YMCA Kuwait has a provisional affiliation from the National Council of YMCAs of India, New Delhi.

Mission of YMCA, Kuwait Chapter

In general, the mission of YMCA is to unite men, women, youth and children as co-workers of Lord God Almighty and encourage them to live in mutual harmony with their fellow men by loving, sharing and caring for one another. It also aims at developing and nurturing the spiritual, mental and physical faculties of its members through diversified activities.

YMCA Kuwait activities include but not limited to

• Charitable work in native place in India
• Cottage prayer meetings
• Inter-Church Bible quiz.
• Musical Concerts
• Honoring 12^th and 10^th students who secure highest marks in studies
• House to House Carol visits proclaiming Good News
• Christmas Carol Singing Competition
• Conducting General Quiz / Medical Quiz in association with other organizations
• Conducting Medical Camps / Dental Camps in association with other organizations
• Visiting sick people in their home and in hospitals and strengthening them
• Uplifting the poor and needy
